Professor Victor Komar Ph.D.,
is a head of the Holography Laboratory at NIKFI*.
He served as Director and Depute Director of NIKFI from 1950 to 1981, where he developed numerous projects in cinematography,
including inventing the first integrated system of holographic cinema technology.
He has published over 180 scientific papers during his distinguished
career and holds several meritorious titles, including Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Cavalier of several
Russian National Orders, a French Order for "Achievements in Cinematography". His numerous international affiliations include
Honorary Member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (USA), Honorary Member of the British Cinematography,
Sound and Television Society, and Honorary Member of the International Union of Cinematographic Associations.
